Blog: create articles and posts for your training platform



With Foxize Cloud you can set up a blog for your training platform.

You can share interesting articles for your users to complement your training courses, or create content to improve the organic positioning of the platform and generate more traffic.





The blog is accessible from the side menu of the platform, and users will be able to see the latest published articles, as well as the most viewed ones.


In addition, they will also be able to rate each article according to whether it is appealing or not.


 You can enable or disable access to the blog from the Settings > Navigation menu. However, people who have the URL will still be able to access it. If you want to disable the blog completely, you will need to do this under Settings > Appearance > Page editing.


Let's see how to publish blog articles in Foxize Cloud.


Publish an article


You will find the Blog section under Daily Management. Inside you will find to create the Posts.


If you want to modify the Blog copy, you can do it from Settings > Appearance > Page editing. In this guide we explain it in detail.


Click on +New Post to open the editor.


For the article you will have to define:

  • Title

  • Header image, which will also appear as a login on the blog.

  • The author.

  • Tags, you can put several

  • Thematic

  • Subtopic

  • Backoffice group, if you want to give access to edit the post to specific administrators.




Then you can enter the content of the article. It has an HTML editor, so you can customize your text with headers, bold and more. You can also include images and embed.


Finally, add a title and SEO description, which will be the text that appears in search engines such as Google or Bing.


SEO will help you rank and attract more traffic. Place keywords and a call to action. It is also important not to exceed the recommended number of characters: 65 characters for the title and 156 for the description.


Check the Active checkbox to make it available on the web and save the article.


That's it!



Remember, you can always edit, preview or delete your articles from the Actions column.


Article ratings

Readers can rate published articles with a thumbs up (like) or a thumbs down (dislike).


The result does not appear on the website, but your rating will appear in the backoffice of the platform. 



In addition, you will be able to access the list of people who have made the ratings.


This system will allow you to know the interest of your users in the topics discussed.

Translating articles

If you have the multi-language option activated on your platform, you will also be able to translate your blog articles.


To activate the multi-language option, go to Settings > Language.


Next to the article, you will see the languages available for translation. Click on one of them to enter the editor.



You will be able to add translations of:

  • Title

  • Image

  • Article content

  • Title and SEO description


Once ready, save the translation so that it is available on the website.


If you do not have the translation activated, the article will not appear on the website in the language to which it belongs.


Customise the look and feel of the blog

As on all the pages of your training platform, you can also customize the blog's copys and banner.


To upload a new banner, go to Daily management > Marketing > Banners. When creating a new banner, select the Blog option.



The size is as follows:

Desktop: 750 x 330px

Mobile: 346 x 152px



If you want to customize the copy of the pages, go to Settings > Appearance > Page editing > Blog.
