Change the appearence of your online school

You can customize the look and feel and the main structure of your online training school by accessing the "Appearance" section from the "Settings" menu.

1. Design

In the design section, you can customize your platform with the look and feel that you want to give to your school. You can add your organization's logo in PNG format with transparent background.

Keep in mind that its dimensions cannot exceed 160px wide x 66px high.

You can also customize the favicon of your website. The favicon is the small icon that appears next to the title of your web page, in the browser tab. It must be in .png or .ico format, and square.

Do not forget to customize the corporate colors that will be used in the different sections of your school, such as "courses" or "about me".

2. Editing the page

Here you can manage the pages that will appear on your website and modify the titles and texts of each one of them. Bear in mind that the template per se cannot be modified.

In this section, you can also activate or deactivate each section of the web. When they are not active, it will not appear on the web and users will not be able to access it.

Each section is made up of different pages where you can carry out 3 actions:

  • Information about the page: If you have questions about the function of the pages, you can consult this section and access the frontend to see how it looks.

  • Edit the page: You will access the page edit mode. You can edit the content of each of the modules that make up the page through the frontend. Each module on the page is limited by a red margin that will appear when you hover over it.

    • There are two types of modules that you can edit: those that you can edit the content (text blocks) or those that you can edit the titles or generic texts.

Closed padlock:

When there is a closed padlock next to a page, it means that to edit it you need to be logged in to the front end. This is because these pages are only accessible by registered users. To do this, you can go to Users and pretend to be logged in with your front-end user (not administrator). This happens on pages such as registration, my courses, home with login, for example.

We recommend always creating your own front-end user, so that you can simulate session when you think it is necessary and test.

Open padlock:

When there is an open padlock next to a page, it means that to edit it you must log out of the front end. These pages are accessible without the need to be logged in. This happens in the public front, login or registration page, for example.

3. Edit mode

In edit mode, you can browse your entire school and directly modify the content. When you have finished editing the page, click "exit edit mode". The window will close, and you will be able to return to your backoffice.

Configure the page: you can edit the SEO of each of the pages and even add a JavaScript code for tracking, such as Social SEM or Social Ads campaigns.

With this, you will have already configured your training school appearance.
