Configure the e-commerce of your training platform

If you want to offer paid online and face-to-face courses, with Foxize Cloud you can manage the payment method of your users through your platform administrator, accessing Settings> ecommerce.

The first thing you will have to do is choose if your platform will offer courses for free or paid.

In the event that you only offer free courses, it will not be necessary to configure anything else.

If, on the other hand, you want to offer paid courses, once this option is checked, the payment methods available on the platform will appear.

The payment methods available in Foxize Cloud are PayPal, POS with Redsys, Stripe and bank transfer.

You can activate or deactivate the payment methods you prefer. In the case of having several active payment methods, they will appear as options during the purchase process and the user will be able to choose the one that best suits them.

Next, we explain what you need to configure each of the available payment methods.

Paypal

PayPal is the easiest payment option to set up. You just need to create a business account on PayPal. From PayPal, you must provide the necessary information that it asks for, including your bank account number.

Once your PayPal account is set up, you just have to write the email of your account in the PayPal box in the back office.

POS with Redsys

POS with Redsys is a secure payment gateway. To be able to use POS as a payment method, you must first have contracted a service with one of the following entities: Banco Sabadell, Banco Santander, Bankia, Bankinter, BBVA or CaixaBank.

When contracting this service, the bank will provide you with a series of data that you must enter the backoffice.

  • A URL

  • The 9-digit Commercial Code

  • The 32-character Secret Code

  • Currency Code

  • The terminal.

Stripe

Stripe is a standard for online payments and is compatible with most banks and payment networks. To use this payment method, you must first create a Stripe account and link it to your bank account.

Once ready, you must enter the following information provided by Stripe and that you will find in the Developers> API keys section of their website.

  • Public Key: an alphanumeric code that begins with pk_live.

  • Private Key: alphanumeric code that begins with sk_live.

For more information on how to obtain the keys and link stripe with your training platform, we recommend that you read our detailed guide.

Bank transfer

If you want your users to enter the amount directly into your account number, you can select bank transfer as the payment method. In this way, a space will be enabled so that you can enter your bank account number so that users can make a transfer.

With the bank transfer, the registration process is NOT automatic, so you will have to be aware that the user makes the payment and then give him access to the course.

We recommend that you take a look at our step-by-step guide.

If you have any questions about the payment methods or the platform in general, you can contact us through the "Help" widget in your backoffice or by emailing us to support@foxizecloud.com
