What is Fundae? Fundae is the State Foundation for Employment Training. Its main function is to help companies train their employees and offer them free access to training programs thanks to the management of public funds.
We already reviewed the requirements that training platforms must have in a previous post, and we saw that Foxize Cloud met all of them. But online training does not only depend on the platform on which it is developed, obviously. Most of the successful training falls to the trainers and tutors.
What requirements must the courses have to be rewarded by Fundae?
Let's see it in parts.
The training must have a didactic guide that includes the objectives of the course, the summary of the contents, tools, and methodologies to be used, the calendar and the evaluation system (tests and exercises).
All the courses that you upload to your Foxize Cloud training platform have a landing page that reflects the structure of a course file, so you can put all the important information.
In addition, the platform must include information about the tutor-trainer about his professional or teaching experience, his academic background and have accredited training or experience in online training. This information can appear both in the course description and in the teachers' section on the training platform.
When a training is taking place, a series of points must also be taken into account, related to its accessibility, the number of hours and sessions, and the number of participants, among other things. Let's see each point in detail:
The training must be free for the participants. With Foxize Cloud you can create an incompany project, so that company members can sign up for free.
The courses must last at least 2 hours. The duration of the course includes all the course material: videos, webinars, exercises, readings, etc.
In the case of doing live classes courses or webinars of different sessions, they cannot exceed 8 hours a day, unless it is done in a single day.
The maximum number of participants in live classes courses will be 30 students (25 in the case of a Certificate of Professionalism) and 80 students in online training.
You must keep an attendance control, either in live classes or online courses, which you will find in the "Course Capacity" section of your backoffice.
At the end of the course, participants must fill out an evaluation questionnaire. You can activate the option of automatic sending of feedback emails after finishing the course through the emailing section of the administrator of your Foxize Cloud platform.
A certificate of attendance must be given to students after completing the course. In Foxize Cloud, students can download the diploma automatically after completing the course.
According to Fundae's requirements, two main profiles are necessary when delivering the training: the Tutor and the Trainer. These functions can be carried out by the same person or different.
The main function of the tutor is to coordinate the training and communication with students so that the sessions are fluid, and the students can meet the objectives of the course. The tutor must have experience and/or formation in training management and e-learning tutorials, in addition to knowing the subject of the course.
Its main function during the course is to energize the participants throughout the training process:
Present the course, the methodology, and the trainers before starting the live classes or online courses (through the forum or chat, for example).
Throughout the course, the tutor will guide and support students in the use of the platform materials and carrying out activities.
It will also monitor and encourage the participation of students during the course, either in person or online, through chat or forums, generating questions, activities, sharing relevant information, etc.
Manage incidents that may occur during the course (for example, projector failure or connection problems).
The trainer is the person who will teach the subject of the course, therefore the trainer must be trained as a teacher and have extensive knowledge or be an expert in the taught subject. The main functions to be performed by the trainer will be:
Monitor the progress of each student's learning to see if they are acquiring the objective knowledge.
Solve doubts related to the content of the course.
Support the facilitator tasks if necessary.
Help students to complete assignments.
Create tests to evaluate the learning of the participants.
As you have seen, all these points focus on facilitating student learning and optimizing session management.
In addition to contacting the appropriate managers, the platform must also facilitate all this management. Foxize Cloud includes a CRM system to keep track of the progress, attendance, and communication required for training.
