Foxize Cloud has a series of automated emails that are activated according to user activity, for example when they enroll in a course or when they have forgotten their password.
But maybe you are interested in doing an emailing campaign aimed at a specific group of users, to encourage a purchase or sharing a coupon, for example. In Foxize Cloud you will find the tool you need for these occasions.
In this guide we explain how personalized mailings work step by step:
To get started with your email marketing campaign, you must first create a new email template. To do this, access the "Daily management > Marketing > Email templates" section of your backoffice and click on the "+Create new template" button that you will find in the upper right.
This option will open the template editor. In it, you must give the template a name (so that it is recognizable in the email list), the subject and write the body of the email.
You can customize the appearance of the email through the HTML source, for example by importing a Mailchimp template. Remember that, by default, when the email is sent, the header and footer will be added automatically, and this cannot be modified.
Once ready, check the "Active" box and save the template to continue with the next step.
To send the email you must access "Daily management > Marketing > Send email". The submission process consists of 3 steps: Add users, select the template and submit. Let's look at them one by one.
The first step is to select the users to whom you are going to send the email. There are several options to segment your database:
Userdata: email, registration date, country, corporate.
User preferences: their favourite themes, favourite courses.
User behaviour: date of registration, date of last inscription, number of inscriptions, course students, teacher students, users of other campaigns.
Furthermore, you also have the option to import a CSV document to add them as receivers. Remember that you must have their explicit permission so that they can receive your emails.
The search result will be a list of users with these characteristics. Foxize Cloud gives you the option to add the emails to the mailing list, or exclude them.
There is another way to add users to the mailing list. Imagine that you want to email students who have not yet finished an online course to encourage them.
To do this, you must go to "Daily management > Course capacity" and click on the "Number of enrolled" column to access the list of students for the course you want.
Once inside, use the "Filter" option to choose, for example, users who have not finished the course yet. Once you have the search results, click on the "Add to emailing" button.
You can also add them manually from the "Daily management > Users" section through the "Actions" column.
Once you have all the emails added, you must go to the next phase to select the email template you want to send.
Finally, you must finish filling out the necessary information before sending the email:
Sender email: the sender email is the one that appears in the "Settings > Contact information" section. By default, an automatic email is generated.
Sender's name
Campaign name: to recognize it in the list of all the campaigns you have sent.
Sending date: it is optional, to schedule the mail sending.
Testing email
You can also review the body of the email and make changes if you think it is necessary. Note that these changes do not affect the original template, only that sending.
When everything is ready, it only remains to press the "Send" button to launch the campaign.
You can see the metrics of the sent campaign from "Daily management > Marketing > Emailing results".
In this section you can see the report of the different marketing campaigns that you have sent to date. You will find the KPIs:
Number of emails sent
Number of openings
Unique openings
Opening index (total openings / total sent)
Clicks
Unique clicks
Reactivity (Total clicks / total openings)
CTR (Total clicks / Total sent)
