Keep your users informed with newsletters
Email is the most direct way to reach your users. In addition, through the newsletters (periodic emails) you can recommend courses according to the activity and tastes of each of your users.
In this guide we will show you step by step how to activate and use the newsletter tool in Foxize Cloud.
Activate the newsletter function
To activate the newsletter functionality, you must go to the "Settings > Digital marketing" section in your backoffice. You will find a section called "Newsletter" that you must activate to start sending automatic periodic emails.
In addition, you can choose how often you want the newsletter to be sent - monthly, weekly, or daily - and specify on what day of the week or month if necessary.
Create the newsletters
To start creating your newsletters you must access the section "Daily management > Marketing > Newsletter" and click on the button "+New newsletter" to access the editor.
In the same way that when you create a personalized email, you must give the newsletter a name (the name will appear in the list of created newsletters and should not be confused with the email subject), the subject and an introductory text that you can customize with HTML.
Remember that using ###nombre### in the body of the text, it will automatically become the name of the user to whom the email is sent.
In each newsletter you create, you must select an edition of a course that you want to highlight. This will appear right after the introductory text of the email, highlighted.
Remember to check the active box in the newsletter you want to send. Our email marketing tool will automatically send the last active newsletter.
When a newsletter is sent, it is automatically completed with 4 more course recommendations, based on the interests and activity of the user in your online school.
Also, like all emails sent from your training platform, your school's logo will appear as the header and footer of the email with the privacy policy and social media information.
