Make your courses more dynamic thanks to the forum and chat

Good news, now you can have a meeting point between students and teachers in your courses thanks to the new forum and chat features for your online school.

Forums are a very useful tool to streamline the course and continue with training beyond elearning videos or webinars. Users who are enrolled in a course will have access to the forum, where they can ask their questions, help others or receive new information from the teacher.

The Chat is also another communication tool with which users can get in touch with each other or with the teacher individually, privately and in real time. In addition, you can also check which users are active at the same time.


Both functionalities meet Fundae's technical requirements that training platforms must offer.


Activate chat and forum for your courses

Activating the chat and forum functionalities is very simple. First, go to the "Settings > Training and complements" section of your platform and activate the "Forum and chat" option that you will find at the end of the list.


You will be able to activate the forums when creating or editing a course from "Edit course" in "Daily management > courses".
Remember: You must activate the forum and chat option on every course edit. It is not done automatically.

Special cases


Space and forum
In case a user is assigned to the same edition of a course in different Spaces, he/she will be able to access the different forums of the course thanks to a drop-down menu at the top.

Teachers and forum
If a course has several editions with a forum, the teacher can navigate between them thanks to a drop-down menu at the top.
