Manage inscriptions and orders for your online and life-classes courses

In order for the users of your training platform to take your online or life-classes courses, they first need to have an account and, second, to enroll for the course. Once enrolled and the course start date (if any) arrives, the now student will be able to access the course materials. A simple and intuitive inscription process for the user.


As administrator of the platform, you can keep track of all your users' inscriptions from the backoffice accessing the "Daily management > Inscriptions" section.

Inscriptions

In the Inscriptions section, you will first find a dashboard with all the activity on the platform related to inscriptions for the last month, inscriptions with coupons or the difference between life-classes and online courses inscriptions.

At the bottom you will find the list of all the inscriptions made and the current status and if they have used a coupon.


In general, the enrollment status is usually active or complete and is updated automatically, but sometimes it must be changed manually. Enrollment status can be modified by clicking on the three-dot button in the "Actions" column.


There are five enrollment statuses:

  • Active: The user is enrolled in the course and has access to the material. They are taking the course.

  • Pending: In the event that your training platform is an ecommerce, the status of the people who have enrolled but have not paid yet (something common in transfer payments) will automatically be set to "Pending". Once you have received and confirmed the payment, you must manually change the status to "Active".

  • Completed: The user no longer has access to the course or materials. It may be for different reasons, at the request of the user, the teacher or because the capacity is full. It must be changed manually from the administrator

  • Refund: According to the terms of use of your platform and if it is agreed with the user, a refund of the amount of the course can be made (in the case of payment). The status must be changed manually.

You can also create a new inscription by clicking on the "+Create new inscription" button.

In this case, you must manually enter the user's data and the course edition to which they are enrolled, the payment method and the price paid. This option is very useful in cases where users may have problems enrolling from your platform.

For those training platforms that want to automatically enroll large numbers of users to a course, they can do so by uploading a .CSV file, from the course edition.

Orders

In the event that yours is an e-commerce site, you will also be able to see the Orders section, where you will find a dashboard with the summary of your income on your platform and a list of all the payments of your students. Nothing can be modified on this page, as it is a record of activity and payments.

In the "Orders" section, you can keep track of all the income from the platform, the discounts, even separate the income from life-classes from the online courses, so that you can check what is more successful and what is more profitable for your platform.
